passions and fear
No one chooses their passions or fears. They happen to us. Emotion carries us. We can watch and learn about this body/mind/spirit mystery called life and find distance and detachment. Alchemy happens, not by choice but via attention….
Life with Tardive Dyskinesia
Originally posted on Everything Matters:
I’ve posted a couple of times about having TD. It is an awful debilitating, crippling and disfiguring disease caused by iatrogenic injury. I just discovered the National Organization for Tardive Dyskinesia so I thought I would share. There is very little accurate or clear information about this disease. I have…
Look, listen and feel
Not much to say anymore. I listen.
Food, diet and mindfulness
I did just about every elimination diet out there (over a period of 15 years). These thoughts come mostly from a couple of years ago as I started to eat more of everything again…I am still learning to eat well for this moment now. This is my experience and only mine. Otherwise we can cause harm with what we imagine are good intentions. Assume nothing and listen. Learn. Behold the OTHER.
Micro-organism illnesses (Lyme disease and many others less popularly defined)
(a lot of chronic illness is similar in some fundamental ways…symptomatology varies and crosses over within the lifetime of those who deal with chronic conditions regardless of diagnosis. Believing one has something specific is detrimental to getting well quite often and most certainly was for me.) that said: it’s also true that I got mostContinue reading “Micro-organism illnesses (Lyme disease and many others less popularly defined)”
Tardive dyskinesia and thoughts from the mindful healing process….
Hello again. I have lyme disease (for which I have mostly used Buhner inspired treatments) and I also have tardive dyskinesia, a grave symptom associated with pharmaceutical injury. It seems to me that the TD is the body trying to rid itself of the invading micro-organisms and environmental toxins like pharma and heavy metals, etc.Continue reading “Tardive dyskinesia and thoughts from the mindful healing process….”
